Tippin' Out in Halifax

Not going anywhere by boat this morning. We're driving around in the rain with Hope and Barry- talking lobster and looking at the 40 plus feet of tide that is normal here on the Bay of Fundy.

Just down the road we saw these cool little cement cottages!

Libby Rae likes these mountain ash trees- they are putting on a pretty good display at this time of year.

Tipping back in the Lincoln. It's still overheating, but we're travelling with jugs of water now. We stop off at Darren Brown's place to talk cigar box, but he ends up working on the car in the rain. Thermostat seems alright, and we put it back. Fluid spewing everywhere... Libby and I get down the road in fits and starts to Halifax. Made it! We pick up our friend Dianne, and head off to Freeman's for our show.

A small but fun crowd comes out for the Sunday night show. Here's the Freeman's stage, ready to go! We'll get the car to a garage in the morning and see what's what. It does not look good. Head gasket? I'll keep you posted...
